In the lobby of that hotel, Howard Halpern opens H. HALPERN ESQ. encompassing his vision of how men should accessorize. With a family history in Toronto retail dating back to 1928, Howard felt North American men’s wear was dull and boring. Where was the colour and design detail so evident in Europe and Britain?
With a focus on colour and detail in shirts, ties and accessories, his dramatically different designs were an instant hit with men from all walks of life.
30 years later, the third generation, Howard’s daughter Meredith, and a knowledgable staff join him in keeping his dream alive.
